I bought and used it. Became clear from it but it is difficult and takes some effort & thought.
Basically it is a special diet and suppliment plan. Takes a lot of effort but when you have clear skin it is worth it. I now use another one which is easier and cheaper suppliment wise with just as good results. The guy posts under the name of snipe something on this forum. The address I got it from is cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISA...2990935892 The acne cured is the more in depth e-book but the ebay one has just as good results and is cheaper. |

The book Markiejack is talking about is my e-book.
I tried doing it on a donation basis and in the 50ish people to date who I sent it to, not one sent me a donation and pestered me with questions all the time - up to 2 hours a day and rarely said thanks. I heard the got no money excuse etc from everyone. I would be happy to send it to you and if you think it is any good then donate. Tell me your email and I will forwarded it to you. |

snipes ebook review | ||

pro: good summary of how to cure acne naturally
con: sometimes to general - need more specifics ( exact supplement regimen, brands used, where to buy, dosages ), wish the diet part was more comphrehensive since it seems to be one of the biggest factors in fighting acne (increase the list of foods that you can or can not eat, recipes would be nice) the one new thing i learned was to take probiotics, but this still remains a mystery because the section on it was very general. i did a search on the internet, and there is way too much info on this topic. Which strains in specific do I need to take to fight acne, in what dosages ( it was suggested to take it 3 times daily, BUT we need actual weights in grams ), and what brands are good. How important is it to add probiotics to my supplement regimen? I hope snipe has time to answer the above question on probiotics and add it to his ebook. Snipe, I'll try adding the probiotics to my diet and if this works, I will send you a donation for the ebook. But I still feel clueless on which strains to buy and the dosage. |

ok, not what I was expecting, but here goes.
You comments on it being too general, I don't think are fair. The problem is it's impossible to cover every angle and I assume when people read the book that they will use common sense. There is no point in me listing brands of supplements in the book as they tend to be country specific. I could recommend them but I think it is better to seek local advice say in a health shop etc. But here are my brands anyway: Zinc (15mg) 1x day - Natures Aid Multi Dophilus (19.5mg 2x day) (probiotics) - Lifeplan Digestive Enzymes 2 - 3 x day - Solgar EFA (1000mg capsules 3 x day) - UDO's Choice (Not listed as EFA but that is what it is, listed as something like essential oils) Echinacea (4x day for 4 days, stop for 3 days then back on) - Bioforce I don't bother with the wheatgrass as I don't need to as I am at the stage where I am usually between 98 - 100% clear. I had a little lapse the other week when I started eating junk all the time hoping just the supplements would be enough. However wheat grass is a very very important part until your skin is clear. Just because the above brands are what I use does not mean they are the best. They seem to work for me and it is what was recommended to me on a balance between price and quality. The main thing with everything especially with vitamins and supplements is the more it costs does not mean the better it is. The information contained on the internet and by the people that run the small health stores is usually very helpful. The other thing is everyones body is different. Some people may need to take higher doses, some may get away with less. Trial and error, it is the only way. The diet part is pretty simple really, I tell you what you can't have so basically if it is not listed you can have it. Again for me to list everything you could have would be impossible. Recipes, well I have quite a few but in general it just takes some thought. If you want them you can have them. Probiotics - quite often listed as multi dophilus. The simplest way I can put it is that the average person has a set amount of good bacteria and a set amount of bad bacteria. Acne sufferers tend to have a higher percentage of bad bacteria. By supplementing with the good bacteria you help balance yourself out. I could explain it in detail but it would be pages long, if you want to know in detail just search the net and trawl through the crap, the answers are there. The dosages are like it says in the e-book, the amounts are pretty much the same in all the versions I have seen usual just over 20mg per tablet/capsule. They contain millions of good bacteria anyway so the odd mg will not be a big deal. The main thing is that I included my email address within the book. Most people charge lots of money for so called email consultations - I don't. Basically I just want to help people out, sounds corny but it is true. This book was free to start with but people took advantage. I was running it on a donation only basis and spending a lot of time helping people out but no one would donate even when they were seeing results. |

Hi Snipe - I emailed you previously regarding your e-book, quite a while ago now, and I must have got you on a bad day, as your reply was that there are too many people asking you too many questions and that you were no longer sending it to anyone.
I went ahead and bought Leo's book! I think you should ask for $10 - $20 from people from this forum for your book outright. After all, you have taken the time to write it, and as you say you are now 98% - 100% clear, which is what we are all aiming for. I suppose there is a fine line between selling a product and genuinely wanting to help people, but as you are a member of this board, surely the moderators will tolerate it? Anyway, my thoughts are that people should not whinge at paying $$ for your knowledge. - Christie |

Thanks Christie S. The Leo Kiesen book was a good choice, from the bits I have gotten to read and what people have told me it seems to be another very good book.

Dont you think acne sufferers have been abused enough? There are plenty people trying to scam acne sufferers on the internet, selling products and books that dont work.
I think snipe is a very honest person, and if his book works, then I'll definitely send him a donation. But I disagree with paying $40-$60 to OTHER ebooks when there is no money back gaurantee if it does not work. Anyway thanks snipe for the book. But you do not mention anything about salt in the diet? I've read many testimonials and articles on the internet and this board that iodized salt should be avoided at all costs. Whats your take on salt? |
|||
snipe12 |
Salt | ||
|
My take on salt is it does not effect me. I have read some of the certain refined salt causes acne stuff on the forums etc and I am skeptical. Maybe it does effect some people but I am not one of them.
One thing I suggest in my book is to introduce categories of food etc back in to your diet one by one and see how far you can push it before it effects you in a bad way. I would suggest using natural salt and avoiding the mass produced stuff, then once you are clear try re-adding it to your diet and see what happens. I doubt it would effect you to be honest. |

Its really nice of you giving the message to people. Basically, its most about diet. Raw food diet seems a good way to go and add probiotic along. I plan to add probiotic. I like to be supplement free. Make my world less complicated. Raw food diet gets all vitamins and minerals.

Re: the ebook | ||
Quote: Right now, no. I had a lot of stress leading up to the start of last week as I was starting a new job etc and forgot to take some of the supplements so I had a bit of a breakout. Still much better than before I started the plan. Normally I am 98 - 100% clear. It all depends, sometimes I will be 100% and then get a spot once in a while. Basically I still get the odd spot now and then but nothing major, usually not even noticeable unless you look really close. My skin was never really bad, well not compared to a lot of the people I have seen on this board but it was bad enough for me to want to do something about it. Wondering what my skin is going to be like next week because this weekend I partied and pretty much had everything I shouldn't have had. Oh one more thing, I wanted to mention that grapes are an acne sufferers best fruit, amazing some of the stuff that grapes can do for your skin. Here is a list of things some fruit and veg does that you might be interested in: Apples - Are excellent for detoxification. Apples are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals. Grapes - Stop the formation of mucous in the gut and are good cleansers for the skin, liver, intestines and kidneys. They are a great source of energy as well. Vegetables: Artichoke - A liver cleanser rich in active ingredients such as the bitter substance cynarin, fatty acids, enzymes and vitamins. Beetroot - A great detoxifier, most valuable for flushing the kidneys and enriching the blood. Cabbage - Stimulates the immune system, kills bacteria and cleanses the mucous membranes of the intestinal tract. Carrots - One of the richest sources of beta carotene, a good digestive aid, skin and eye cleanser. Celery - Stimulates digestion, and eliminate excessive fluids from the body. Alkaline properties make it a good detoxifier. Lettuce - Contains calcium, iron, folic acid, vitamin A and C. Helps with intestinal and liver function. Nettle - An excellent blood purifier. Stimulate the metabolism and the kidneys. Onion - Like garlic, onions look after the heart. They help to thin the blood, regulate blood sugar levels and are anti-bacterial. Watercress - A great blood cleanser. Has a stimulating effect on the spleen, liver and gallbladder. Aids digestion and elimination of mucous. |

It is easier than my plan, although from my experience you will not get as good results. Worth a read anyway. |
