I tried it and many other forms of antibiotics, they all gave me up to 90% clear up and then would stop working and my acne would come back after about 3 or 4 months from when the clear up started. I would then have to try a different type.

One of the bad sides of antibiotics is that it left me with a feeling of averageness. Basically I didn't feel ill but I never felt good either. I later discovered this is because antibiotics kill both good and bad bacteria which causes a number of complications.

There is nothing wrong with antibiotics in my opinion as a last resort but there are better ways. It depends how hectic your life is.

Antibiotics are not so bad. Yes they kill the good bacteria and can cause yeast infections and so on but if acne really effects your confidence and the way you live your life then I think taking them as a last resort is not ideal but it is one solution.

I'm still a firm believer that a diet change and general healthy living is the way to go, it has in fact given me far superior results to the various types of Antibiotics I used.

But I also understand that most people are not prepared or cannot make the sacrifices that a diet demands due to how hectic their life is. Whilst I was taking Antibiotics I was living a hectic lifestyle traveling the world and diet choice was something that was rarely possible. Antibiotics filled this space perfectly for me. I didn't feel great all of the time but it was much more important for me to have clearish skin.

I am certainly not recommending Antibiotics but I think they are useful for some people.
