Zinc? If so, how much daily?
B-50 Complex daily?
Vitamins A or E?
Please post exactly what is best to supplement 10g of B5 daily in terms of pills you would swallow.
Thanks.

I've been on 10g B5 daily for about 6 months now, but have not seen significant progress, so I was wondering exactly what it is best to supplement with.

B5 in my opinion is worthless for most people and the side effects it can cause even months after you stop taking it are quite scary.
All the supplements you have listed are excellent with regards to acne, the only one of significant benefit you have not listed is probiotics (friendly bacteria). |

B5 isn't that great, depends on the person, the side-effects are scary as well. Try changing ur diet and adding some zinc + EFA's
Oh, and EXERCISE, cycling or walking is best IMO. |

Take no more than 30mg of Zinc a day, no less than 15mg.
Fish oil tablets about 4-5 preferbly before eating. One tablett 1000mg. If it's 500mg then take about 8-10. It's always a good idea to take a multivitamin each day. But remember to eat healthy, fruits (apples are really good) and veggies. Otherwise results will take much longer. Stay in touch! |

I wouldn't say B5 is worthless. I still know people who use it and have been using if for months and it still keeps them clear. B5 helps to break down fats in the body but like everything its subjective to the person-whether it will illicit a good or negative response.
With all supplements they can either do wonders for your skin, do nothing, or break you out! I like zinc because when I'm on it my skin and scars heal better. EFA's are good but for me personally they broke me out. Make sure to get a good blend-getting just one type can offset your balance. You also might want to look into probiotics for some extra help. Just be sure and remember that everyone is different and it will take some time to customize the vitamins and the amounts that will work best for you. |

Blueeyed bia.. you said the magic word.. it helps break down the fats in your body.. B5 that is.. Here's the thing.. why not take digestive enzymes instead.. It breaks down the fats, the starches, the sugars in your body. I think people need to add digestive enzymes into their regimen into their diet, if they have not done so already. I assume that most acne suffers have problems breaking down their food as well, so why not take something to allow your body to assimilate and break it down??

B-5 does work relatively well, it cleared me up, but it at first didn't do anything. So, I raised the dose, and I took the B-50 Complex, which made this
acne treatment start to work. Before, I'd say since I didn't
take the B-50, it didn't work. I had side-effects like diahrrea as well, but it was worth treating the acne. Fish capsules didn't work at all.
