hi i have some massive skin and hair problems. I do not have acne anymore but the problems are strongly related to the functions that causes acne i think.... here is a link to a previous thread where i describe my exact problems:

anyway i recently went to a homeopath and he made some tests, where he put a needle on different parts of my hand and feet. And the numbers that came out were just fine exept from the skin, liver, and lymph system .... he gave me some homeopath medication (Silicea, lymphidiaral, calcium phosphoricum)which im supposed to take for some time.
theese are suposed to help the liver and lymph system - which again should improve the skin in some way i cant figure out. Does this sound reasonable? I have no experience with this alternative stuff. I have also read about thyroid problems in another thread. Does this have anything to do with it?
furthermore im very interested in changing my diet if that will help me in any way. i will also appreciate advise on this.
please post ideas, experiences, thoughts.... anything, thank you!
And I have no experience of EFA's but the info i have read seems to contradict one another. 
Thanks.. As for Flaxseed.. I really don't know what works, and doesn't work. I've never purchased the flaxseed, only as a pill, or liquid form. I think the efficacy isn't as important, as getting enough of the intended ingredient in your body. I think one tablespoon of liquid is like 6 capsules, not sure how many seeds.
